Terms of Service

Last updated:

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Paws And Pine, 760 N 7th St Apt 5304, San Jose, CA 95112, US, whenever you browse pawsandpine.shop or buy one of our blankets, hoodies, tees, pet beds or cabin gifts. By placing an order you accept these Terms and the policies they point to. They are written to be read, not skimmed past, so we have kept the language plain. Nothing here takes away any consumer right that the law says cannot be waived.

Trailhead summary

  • Prices are in US dollars, and shipping is free on every order to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
  • Orders are prepared in 1–3 business days and usually arrive 7–14 business days after they ship. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates.
  • You can cancel or change an order within 24 hours of placing it by emailing us.
  • Every product, personalised ones included, can be returned within 60 days for any reason, with a free return label.
  • Personalised items are printed exactly as you enter them. There is no proof or mockup step, so check spelling and your photo link before you pay.
  • You must have the right to use any photo and name you send us, and personalisation cannot copy brands, teams or characters.
  • These Terms are governed by California law.

1. Who can use the store

You may browse and buy from pawsandpine.shop for yourself, your household and as gifts. To place an order you need to be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission. If you open an account in My Account, keep your password private and tell us quickly if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for orders placed through your account until you let us know.

We currently deliver only to addresses in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Orders addressed anywhere else cannot be accepted, and checkout will not offer them.

2. What you are buying

Product descriptions and images

Each product page lists the sizes and options that are actually available: throw blankets in Fleece or Sherpa at 30 x 40 in, 50 x 60 in or 60 x 80 in; unisex pullover hoodies and crewneck sweatshirts in S–3XL; long-sleeve tees in S–3XL; short-sleeve tees in S–2XL; pet beds in Small, Medium and Large; bandanas in S, M and L; crate and car seat mats from Small to XL; pillow covers; mugs and ornaments. Product images are digital previews of the design. Colours on screen can differ slightly from the printed item, and the live text preview of your pet’s name shows placement, not an exact print. For help choosing between sizes, see our Size Guide.

Designs

Our breed portraits, campfire, pine and cabin artwork are original or generic designs. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by any park, outdoor brand, team or entertainment company.

3. Personalised orders

Five of our products can be made from your own photo, and many more carry your pet’s name. Personalisation is set through the fields on the product page: the pet name (up to 14 characters), a photo link that anyone can open, and an optional second line or pose. There is no extra charge for personalising, and no upload button; you paste a share link instead.

We print exactly what you send

We do not send a proof, mockup or approval email before production. What you type in the name field and the photo the link opens are what gets printed. That keeps orders moving, but it puts the final check in your hands:

  • Read the name back letter by letter. “Juniper” with a missing “i” will be printed as typed.
  • Open your photo link in a private browser window before you order. If it asks you to sign in, it will not open for us either. A Google Photos link set to “anyone with the link” works well.
  • Pick a clear, well-lit photo where your pet’s face fills a good part of the frame. We do not retouch, recolour or redraw photos.

If you notice a mistake after ordering, email us within 24 hours as explained on Cancel or Change an Order. If the link does not open when we fetch it, we will email you and hold the order until you send a working one. Our processing time of 1–3 business days starts again from the point we have a working link.

Your promises about photos and names

When you send us a photo, a name or a second line of text, you confirm that:

  • you took the photo or have permission from the person who did to have it printed;
  • any person who appears recognisably in the photo is happy for it to be printed;
  • the text and image do not include trademarks, logos, team names or crests, cartoon or film characters, celebrity likenesses, or the names of parks or outdoor brands;
  • the content is not hateful, threatening, obscene or otherwise unlawful.

We may decline or cancel a personalised order that does not meet these rules, with a full refund. If someone makes a claim against us because a photo or text you supplied infringed their rights, you agree to cooperate with us and to be responsible for the losses that result, to the extent the law allows. Our Intellectual Property Policy explains what we can and cannot print in more detail.

How we use your photo

You keep all rights to your photo. You give us permission to use it only to make and deliver your order and handle any return or exchange. We delete our copy and the link 30 days after delivery, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we never use it in marketing.

4. Prices, shipping costs and duties

Prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and can change before you place an order. The total you see at checkout is the amount charged for that order. Shipping is free on every order with no minimum spend.

We do not add sales tax lines at checkout and do not collect sales tax on your behalf. If your country or state expects you to account for tax or import charges yourself, that remains your responsibility. For parcels to Canada, Australia and New Zealand, duties and import taxes depend on the destination country; please contact us before ordering if you have a question.

If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price because of a typing or system error, we will contact you before shipping and either correct the order with your agreement or cancel it with a full refund.

5. Placing and accepting orders

Submitting checkout is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send the order confirmation email. We can refuse or cancel an order if payment cannot be verified, the delivery address is outside our four countries, we suspect fraud, the personalisation breaks section 3, or an item has become unavailable. If that happens, you receive a full refund to the original payment method.

Payment

The payment options available are shown at checkout, and our Payment Methods page explains how payment works. Payments are handled by the payment provider, and we never store full card numbers.

Delivery times are estimates, not promises of a specific date. If you are working back from a birthday or holiday, add 1–3 business days of processing to 7–14 business days of transit and leave a little room: an order placed on a Monday for a birthday three weeks later is usually comfortable, but not guaranteed. Full details are on Shipping & Delivery, and you can check status on Order Tracking with your order number and billing email.

Please make sure the shipping address is complete and correct. If a parcel is returned to us because of an address error, we will contact you about sending it again.

7. Returns, refunds and store credit

Every product can be returned within 60 days for any reason, including personalised items, and we provide a free return label. Refunds are issued within 7 days of us receiving the return, to the original payment method. If you choose store credit instead, it never expires. The step-by-step process is on our Returns & Exchanges Policy and the money side is on our Refund Policy; both form part of these Terms.

An example: a pet lover hoodie that turns out too snug can be sent back with the free label inside the 60 days, and you can ask for a different size or a refund.

8. Using the site fairly

You agree not to:

  • try to break into, overload or interfere with the site, its server or Cloudflare protection;
  • scrape or bulk-copy products, images or text with automated tools, apart from normal search-engine indexing;
  • place fraudulent orders or use someone else’s payment details;
  • copy our designs, product photos or descriptions for resale or for another store.

We may block access or cancel orders connected with misuse.

9. Our content

The Paws And Pine name, logo, artwork, product images and page text belong to Paws And Pine or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages, but not reproduce our content. Rights holders who believe something on the site infringes their work can follow the notice process on our DMCA page.

10. Limits of our responsibility

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed occasion when a parcel arrives after an estimated date, and our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. These limits do not apply where the law forbids them, including liability for fraud or for injury caused by negligence, and they do not reduce your statutory rights as a consumer.

Pet products such as beds, bandanas and crate mats are not toys. Please supervise pets with any new item, and remove it if your pet starts chewing or swallowing pieces.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any order you place are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live in Canada, Australia or New Zealand, you also keep any mandatory consumer protections of your own country.

If something goes wrong, please email us first. Almost every problem, from a smudged name to a parcel that seems to have stalled, can be sorted out by email faster than any formal process. If we cannot resolve it together, either of us may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction under California law, or to a small claims court where you qualify.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the store changes, for example when a payment provider is connected or a new product type is added. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order. The date at the top of this page shows the latest change.

13. Around the fire: contact us
